AQUAEL BioCeraMax 1600 is a high-performance filter material for effective biological filtration of aquarium water. The fine-pored filter balls provide a huge surface area of approx. 1600 m²/l for colonizing bacteria of the Nitrosomas and Nitrobacter genera. Pollutants such as ammonium/ammonia and nitrite are quickly removed and the aquarium water becomes clear, clean and healthy. To maintain optimal filter characteristics, the filter material should be rinsed regularly and replaced after approximately 6-12 months.
